Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.
Baptism Preparation Seminar
The seminar must be attended by the child's parents and godparents. The godparents (one godfather and one godmother) chosen must be 18 years or above and must be practicing Catholics and should have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. The seminar is held in our parish on the second Tuesday of every month from 08.00 PM to 09.00 PM. The registration for the course must be done at the Parish Office at least one day before the course.

Sacrament of Baptism in English- Baptism Day : Every Friday ( Except prior information of cancellation )
- Baptism Time : 05.00 PM
- Reporting time : 04.30 PM
- Venue : Main Church / Assissi Chapel
Sacrament of Baptism in Syro-Malabar Rite
- Baptism Day : Every Friday ( Except prior information of cancellation )
- Baptism Time : 03.00 PM
- Reporting time : 02.30 PM
- Venue : Main Church / Assissi Chapel
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR BAPTISMParents should submit the following documents to the Parish Office at least one day before baptism to book the date.
- Copy of Birth Certificate of the Child (Official English Translation)
- Copy of Passport and Visa of the parents and child
- Copy of Catholic Marriage Certificate of the Parents (Civil Marriage not accepted)
- Copy of Confirmation Certificate or Catholic Marriage Certificate of Godparents (Civil Marriage not accepted)
- Parents/Godparents reside in Sharjah/Ajman - Parish Registration ID number
- Parents/Godparents reside outside Sharjah/Ajman - Original No Objection Letter (NOC) from the concerned Parish Priest
- Copy of Baptism Preparation Course Certificate of both Parents and Godparents
