CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENT 
             19^th Sunday of Ordinary Time  -  12^th August 2018
  
1.       Catechism Registration  for 2018- 19
Catechism registration for the academic year 2018-19 for both new and existing children can be done by online on the parish website or filling the application form which is available in front of the Catechism office.
Please note the following changes done for the catechism Students.

• In line with the Vicariate syllabus, this year onwards, we will follow two years preparation for First Holy Communion.
• Grade 3 students will prepare for Sacrament of Reconciliation/Penance.
• Grade 4 student will prepare for Sacrament of Eucharist.
• ACYC

The ACYC team (Catholic Youth Conference in Arabia) is looking for young adults between the age group of 18-35 who wish to be the part of different skilled activities of the group. Kindly refer the notice boards for more information and the registration.

3. Baptism preparation Seminar

Baptism Preparation Seminar will be held on Monday 13 ^th August from  8 pm to 9 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel. August 11 ^th is the last day for registration
4.       Feast of Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary
Wednesday, 15 ^th August is the Solemnity of the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary. We will have one additional Mass in English at  in the Church. On the same day, there will Syro Malabar Mass at  in the Parish Hall and Malayalam Latin Mass at  in the Church.

5. Last day of registration & cancellation of prayer meetings

Malayalam Summer Camp registration will close on Friday 17 ^th August. Parents, who have not yet registered, are requested to do it at the earliest.  In view of Malayalam summer camp from 18 ^th to 25 ^th  August; all prayer group meetings during this period shall remain cancelled
6.       S R M Fire Conference Retreat
SRM is organising the Fire Conference Retreat from 21st to 23rd August, during the Eid holidays from  08 am to 5 pm. Resource Speaker is Rev. Fr. Mathew Elavunkal, (Fr. Kochu Mathew) from Potta. Free Registration counters are opened in the Church Compound
7.       Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Thanksgiving
Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 23 ^rd August at 7.00 PM in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel. Please register for the same at the Parish office on or before 21 ^st August.
8.      Youth Mass
Youth Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 25 ^th August at 7 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel
9.       General Announcement
Parents are requested not to send their children to assist the Eucharistic Ministers during Communion Distribution
