CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENT 
             20^th Sunday of Ordinary Time  -  19^th August 2018 
 
 

1. Kerala Flood Relief

As a parish, we have decided to support those affected by the flood in Kerala. Most importantly we request your prayers. We have kept collection boxes at all the church entrances for financial support required.

2. Catechism Registration  for 2018- 19

As already announced, the Catechism registration for the academic year 2018-19 for both new and existing children can be done online on the parish website or filling the application form which is available in front of the Catechism office.
Please note the following changes made for the catechism Students.
·        In line with the Vicariate syllabus, this year onwards, we will follow two years preparation for First Holy Communion.
·        Grade 3 students will prepare for Sacrament of Reconciliation/Penance.
·        Grade 4 student will prepare for Sacrament of Eucharist. 

3. S R M Fire Conference Retreat

SRM Retreat during this Eid holidays, 20 to 22 August, will be from 8.Am to 5.00 PM. On the first day in Malayalam and on 2 nd English and on the third day English and Malayalam. Free Registration counters are opened in the Church Compound. All are welcome

4. Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Thanksgiving

The 7 PM English Mass in the Church on Thursday 23 ^rd August will be celebrated as Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass. Those celebrating their birthday and Wedding anniversary in this month can attend this mass by occupying the front pews reserved for the same.

5. Youth Mass

Youth Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 25 ^th August at 7 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel 

6. ACYC

The ACYC -2018 (Catholic Youth Conference in Arabia) invites young adults between the age group of 18-35 to participate in the Big Event held on 26 ^th and 27 ^th of October in St. Antony of Padua Church, Ras Al Khaimah. Registration is open on Church Website and at the Church premises.

7. Pastoral Letter By Bishop Paul Hinder

The Pastoral Letter of our Bishop Paul Hinder, titled “MY GRACE IS ENOUPH” in English is available at the church premises. Kindly take one copy per family. In Malayalam, Tagalog and Arabic will be available during their respective vernacular Masses.

8. We thank Fr. Yovan for his dedicated services to our parish during the last one month and extend to him our prayerful best wishes for the success of his assignments in the home province.
9. Parish Family Fest 2018

Parish Family Fest- 2018 will be held on November 8th & 9 ^th, 2018. Raffle coupons for the same are available in the church compound. Parishioners are encouraged to buy the raffle ticket.
