3^rd   Sunday of Advent– 15^th December 2019
  

1. Family Fest 2019

This year family fest was for the renovation of our church. Though the total renovation cost was much higher, we were able to collect AED 812,615 only (Eight Hundred Twelve Thousand Six Hundred and Fifty Dirhams only) thank you for your generosity and God bless you.

2. Advent Confession for Children

Advent confessions for all children of grade 5 to teens are scheduled on Saturday, 14th December from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.  Children are requested to gather in the Parish Hall at 9:00 am for short preparation

3. Sacrament of confession

We are in 3 ^rd week of advent. Parishioners who made their confessions recently are requested not to come for confessions again, if they have not committed serious/mortal sins, giving opportunities for those who could not make their confessions for a long period of time. It is not necessary to make a confession every time before receiving communion unless a serious sin is committed

4. Parish Volunteers Meeting

Parish Volunteers’ meeting is scheduled on Tuesday 17th December at 7.45 pm in Hall No 201.  All existing and new Volunteers are requested to attend this meeting

5. Catechism: Catechism Class on Friday and Saturday are closed for Christmas Vacation. Classes will resume on Friday 10^th January 2020
6. Common Carol Singing

Common Carol singing (English and vernacular) has commenced and will continue every day after the 7.00 pm Mass in the Church compound till Monday, 22 ^nd December.

7. Christmas Gifts for the poor and needy

You are encouraged to bring your Christmas Gifts for the poor and needy in the form of useful items (except food items). This may be handed over to Parish Office or any of the priests

8. Christmas and New Year  Mass Schedule

Christmas and New Year Mass Schedule are displayed on the Notice Board as well as the Church website. Parishioners are requested to kindly take note of the same

9. Birthday and Wedding anniversary Thanksgiving Mass

Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 26 ^th December at 7.00 PM in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel. Please register at the Parish office on or before 24 ^th December

10. Feast of Holy Family

Church Celebrates the Feast of Holy Family on Sunday 29th December. On this occasion, we will be having a special mass for all the families in our Parish at 7 PM in the Church followed by an honoring session for all the Grand Parents of our Parish in St Francis of Assisi Chapel.  Request all Grand Parents, who can attend, to register their names at the Parish office before the 26 ^th of December.

11. The stock of hosts in our parish is getting over. Parishioners are requested to bring the hosts when you are coming after your vacation.
