CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS 15^th to 18^th OCTOBER 2020

World Mission Sunday

We celebrate the World Mission Sunday this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The collections during these days will be sent to The Holy Father to support the missionary activities around the world.

Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass

Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 26^thOctober at 8.00 PM in the Church. Those who celebrate their birthdays and Wedding anniversaries from last March till this month and wish to participate, can register their names at the Parish office before 24^th October.

Catechism Announcement

Online Catechism Class timing is as follows:

Friday Classes
Grades 1, 3, 4, 6, and 8   : 10 am
Grades 2 and 5                : 11 am
Grade 7 and Life teen      : 12 noon

Saturday Classes
Grades 1 to 8                  : 09.30 am

b.     The existing and new students who have already registered, will receive the email from the teacher informing them the grade, section and time of class.
Those who have not yet registered should please visit the church website and register under the tab Catechism - English.

c.      Parents are requested to encourage their children to participate in the online Catechism Mass that is scheduled every Friday at 09.00 am. It is an Obligatory Mass for all Catechism students.

General Absolution

As already announced, there will be Rites of Reconciliation with General Absolution, before all the obligatory masses celebrated with the people during this week. Parishioners are requested to make use of this opportunity for the sacrament of reconciliation.

Announcement for the Jubilee Theme

With the Inauguration of our Golden Jubilee celebration on 11th October '20, we are happy to invite our Parishioners to suggest a Spiritual Theme based on the Word of God, “BE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MINDs” (NRSV Eph 4:23) and keeping in mind the parish motto: “ONE GOD, ONE FAITH, ONE CHURH ONE FAMILY- ST.MICHAEL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH”, 50 years journey of our Church, for our Golden Jubilee celebration.

6. Spiritual Retreat by Divine Mercy Prayer Gorup
Divine Mercy Prayer Group of Sharjah will be organising three days spiritual Retreat starting from 29th to 31st October from 07.30 PM to 09.30 PM. All parishoners are inveted for this live streaming Retreat. The Link will be posted on the church website.
