CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS 1st Sunday of Lent - 1st March 2020
1. Way of the Cross Timings Way of the cross timings are displayed on the Church Notice Board and the website
2. My Lenten Sacrifice Envelope: Every family and individual are requested to take the “My Lenten Sacrifice for the poor and needy envelopes” which are available at Church entrance and Parish Office.
3. Midday Prayer During Lenten Season On this Lenten season, priests of our parish are inviting all the parishioners to join with community midday prayer from Monday to Thursday starting on 2nd of March at 12 noon in the church.
4. First Friday Holy Hour The First Friday Holy hour will be held on 6
th March at 4.45pm
5. Parish Lenten Mission: The Parish Lenten Mission, animated by Rev. Father Franco Pereira, will be from Sunday, 8
th March to Wednesday, 11
th March from 6.30 PM to 9.30 PM. Inviting all parishioners, all prayer groups and ministries to attend this annual Retreat.
6. Baptism Preparation Seminar Baptism Preparation Seminar will be held on Monday 16
th March from 8 pm to 9 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel. March 14
th is the last day for registration
7. Marriage Preparation Course in English Two days Marriage Preparation Course in English will be held on Thursday 12
th March from 06.30 PM to 09.30 PM and on Friday, 13
th March from 7.30 am to 04.30pm, 10
th March is the last day for registration
8. Garage Sale by Arabic Community Arabic community of our parish organizing a Garage Sale on 6
th and 7
th of March in the Church Compound. Inviting the donation of used and new items for the sales.
9. Christian Life Program The Couples for Christ (CFC) will be conducting ‘The Christian Life Program’ starting on Friday 06
th March from 8PM to 09 PM in Hall No.302. Invitation is open to all couples, singles and men and women away from families. More information is available on the notice board
10. General Instructions · Parishioners are requested to use the toilets with care and make sure the seat and bowl are clean before leaving. Please do not throw tissues, chewing gum, plastic item etc... in the toilet bowl.
· Parishioners to kindly follow normally accepted hygiene practices in the Church and church premises such as covering your mouth while coughing or sneezing. Also, if the symptoms are severe, it is advisable to take necessary medications and rest. Thank you for your cooperation
