1. Blessing of our renovated Church
The blessing of our renovated Church will be on Wednesday 4 ^th September officiated by His Excellency Bishop Paul Hinder during 7 pm Mass followed by Flag hoisting of Our Lady of Velankanni.  All are cordially invited. Parishioners kindly note that the mass timings and the venues remind same as previous timing from 5 ^th September onwards
2. Feast of Blessed Virgin Mary in the Month of September
The Church celebrates the feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary on Sunday, 8 ^th September. In our parish, various communities celebrate it as follows:    
a. Marathi Community -

c. Tamil Community -

3. Baptism Preparation Seminar
Baptism Preparation Seminar will be held on Monday 9 ^th September from 8 pm to 9 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel. September 7 ^th is the last day for registration
4. Marriage preparation Course
Two days Marriage Preparation Course in English will be held on Thursday 19 ^th September from 06.30 PM to 09.30 PM and on Friday, 20 ^th September from 7.30 am to 04.30pm. 18 ^th September is the last day for registration
5. Catechism Announcement
a)Online Catechism Registration for the year 2019-2020 is open for New Students Only. Please visit our Church website stmichaelssharjah.org for registration. For re-registering the existing students, please approach the Catechism Office on Fridays and Saturdays between 9 am to 12 noon. Distribution of Catechism Books for those already registered will commence from 6 ^th of September on all Fridays and Saturdays between 9 am to 12 noon.  Please bring along with your receipt to collect the books.
b)Catechetical Year 2019-2020 will commence as follows

• GRADES 1- 3 : FRIDAY, 27TH SEPTEMBER
• GRADES 4 - LIFE TEEN:  FRIDAY 4TH OCTOBER
• SATURDAY CLASS FOR GRADES 1-8:  SATURDAY, 28TH SEPTEMBER

6. Family Fest- 2019
This year we shall be celebrating the Family Fest on 7th 8 ^th and 9 ^th of November with the Theme – “LET’S BUILD TOGETHER”. The proceeds from the Fest will be used exclusively for the Church Renovation. On this occasion, we are introducing following special events.

1. St. Michael’s Got Talent  

          -All age groups from infants up to 90 years and above can participate
          -The competition will be telecasted on YouTube
          -Registration is available online with the fee of AED 100
      b) Little Photostar 2019 Completion
          -Participants: Four age groups between 0-2, 3- 4, 5-6 & 7-8
          -Registration fee AED 50
      c)   The Family Fest Raffle Coupons are available in the Church Compound.
