1. A Movie about Graham Staines

A documentary movie, the Warpath, about Graham Staines, the Australian Christian Missionary, will be showing on Saturday 2nd March at 08.15 PM in Parish Hall. All are welcome to experience the Missionary life of Graham Staines

2. Ash Wednesday

6th March is Ash Wednesday, day of fast and abstinence and beginning of the Lenten Season. The Mass timings are:
English Mass               : Morning 5.45, 7 & 8, Evening: 5, 6 & 7pm
Malayalam Mass         : 8.15 pm in the Church
Tagalog Mass               : 8.15 pm in Parish Hall
Syro-Malabar Mass   : 8.15 pm in the Church on 4th March, Monday

3. Lenten season

• With Ash Wednesday, we enter into the Lenten season.  During this time we omit “Alleluia” and “Gloria”; please do not bring flowers to place on the Altar/ Sanctuary. Instead, you can make your love offering for the poor and needy.
• Fast & Abstinence is prescribed for Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. As a general rule, abstinence is prescribed every Wednesday during Lent.
• My Lenten Sacrifice Envelope: Every family and individual are requested to take the “My Lenten Sacrifice for the poor and needy envelopes” which are available shortly at Church entrance and Parish Office
• Kindly bring the blessed palms and hand them over to the Parish office before Sunday, 3^rd March

4. Marriage Preparation Course in English
Two days Marriage Preparation Course in English will be held on Thursday 7 ^th March from 06.30 PM to 09.30 PM and on Friday, 8 ^th March from 7.30 am to 04.30pm. 5 ^th March is the last day for registration
5. Baptism preparation Seminar
Baptism Preparation Seminar will be held on Monday 11 ^th March from 8 pm to 9 pm    at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel. March 10 ^th is the last day for registration

6. Way of the cross

English          : Daily – Morning 5 am and Evening before all Holy Mass 
Malayalam   : Every Wednesday at 7.45pm in the Church
Konkani        : Every Saturday at 6.30pm in the Parish Hall
Tamil             : Every Friday at 4.30 pm in the Parish Hall
Tagalog        : Every Friday and Sunday before the Mass
Legion of Mary: Every Monday after 7.00 pm Mass

7. General Announcement

• ALTAR SERVERS:  Parents are requested to kindly refrain from sending their children to assist the Lay ministers in distributing Communion.  The children need to be trained to hold the plate as it may contain particles of the host.
• CLEANLINESS:  Parishioners are requested to keep the church premises clean.  The Babies room is often found littered with tissues, biscuit packets, juice tetra packs. If you have to give your children these things then kindly use the dust bins to dispose the empty boxes.
