CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS 2^nd TO 4^TH OCTOBER 2020

Sacrament of First Holy Communion

355 children of our Parish received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion these days. We congratulate all the children who received First Holy Communion.

We take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, for all the help and support provided to St. Michael’s Catholic Church

We also thank the Catechism teachers and the volunteers for their dedicated service in preparing our children for the sacrament.

The new Catechetical year 2020-2021 for our children begins as follows:

Grades 1 to 3 and 6 to Lifeteen:    2nd of October for the Friday classes
     3rd October for the Saturday classes

Grades 4 and 5                       :   9th October for Friday classes
                                                        10th October for the Saturday classes

The existing and new students who have already registered, will receive the email from the teacher informing the grade and section as well as the time of class.
Those who have not yet re-registered - please visit the church website and register under the tab Catechism - English.

Baptism Preparation Seminar

Baptism preparation Seminar for parents and Godparents will be held on Monday 12th October from 8 pm to 9 pm in the Parish Hall. Please register for the same in the parish office before 10th of October

General Instructions to Follow

No participant will be permitted to stand.
Children below 12 years, Pregnant Women and Elderly People will not be permitted.
During the Holy Communion, stand and receive the Communion. Once you receive the Communion on your hands, please consume immediately
All must wear the Mask & Keep a social distance of 1.5 Meters.

Request the parishioners to read the guidelines, received from Sharjah Ruler’s Office, posted on the parish website and strictly follow the same. Kindly follow the directions of the ushers. Seek your co-operation at all times.
