Thursday, 1st September, is the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation.
The new Parish Pastoral Council will be inducted on Sunday, 4th September, during the 07.00pm mass.
We shall have the Holy hour on 4th September, First Sunday of the month, at 04.45 pm.
The Konkani-speaking faithful of our parish is celebrating Monthifest on Saturday, 10th September, at 10.00 am
The Tamil-speaking faithful of our parish is celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Vailankanni on Sunday, 11th September, at 11.00 am. The flag hoisting will be on Friday, 2nd September, after 07.00pm mass.
CatechismRegistrations for children in English for the year 2022-2023 is now open. For new admissions, you can register through the link on the church website. Previous years students will be automatically promoted to the next grade and will receive an email confirmation by 15th September. Classes will commence on 24th and 25th September for Saturday and Sunday batches, respectively.
We encourage those faithful who wish to join as dedicated Catechists to approach the Parish Office during office hours and to submit their application by 10th Sept.
All coordinators and assistant coordinators of various prayer groups and gatherings are invited to attend a meeting to reschedule the timings for prayer meetings and other gatherings on Wednesday, 21st September, at 08.00 pm in the Parish Hall.
We have received the newly revised guidelines from Sharjah Ruler’s Office for Church services with strict instructions as narrated below:
Children of all ages are permitted to attend holy services.
Confessions in the church will begin from Monday onwards during mass timings.
All faithful, including children, must maintain a social distance of minimum 0.5m and must wear masks during all services.
Those having flu symptoms such as fever, cold and cough should not visit the church. If noticed, they will be sent back by the ushers.
Faithful are requested to disperse at the earliest after each service.
Other information:
Church gates will open by 05.00 am and close before 10.00 pm every day.
Priests and Communion Ministers will distribute Holy Communion by remaining in the designated places from the following Monday, 29th August, onwards. We remind you that only the Catholic faithful should receive Communion.
Baby can be accompanied by only one parent to the Babies Room and balcony area as per the advice of the ushers.
Faithful who bring their families should drop them at the gate and move the vehicle immediately to the parking lots rather than waiting and causing traffic congestion.
We must remember that the pandemic has not ended though the situation has improved and so kindly cooperate with the assistance of the ushers with humility.
