Church Announcements

1.     Marriage Preparation Course in English will be conducted online on 10th and 11th of June i.e. Thursday and Friday.
 
2.     Friday, 11^th of June is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. On this day, we also celebrate the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests.
 
3.     Saturday, 12^th of June is the Memoria of Immaculate Heart of Blessed Virgin Mary.
 
4.     Baptism Preparation Seminar for parents and godparents will be on Monday, 14th of June from 8 pm to 9 pm. The last date for the registration is 13th of June.
 
5.     The Parish Council meeting will be held every first Monday at 8pm.
 
6.     We will be having special masses for faithful who are above 60 years of age on every second Monday at 8pm.
 
7.     The Thanksgiving mass for Birthdays and Wedding Anniversaries will be held every fourth Monday at 8pm.
 
8.     The children who have completed both Grades 3 and 4 in Catechism but have not received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion and still wish to receive the Sacrament in our parish, should register in the Parish Office before 13^th of June.
 
9.     Liturgy:
 
        a.     During the praying of the rosary and celebration of mass, all faithful                  must participate and involve in the liturgy by saying the responses                      slowly and meditatively.

        b.     The choir for the mass is only to lead the faithful and all faithful                           must actively participate by singing.

        c.      Solo singing is not encouraged.
 
10. Those faithful who are giving cash contributions in the form of tithes or donations are requested to collect the receipt for the same from the Parish Office.
 
11. All the collections received from the faithful are properly accounted. The church accounts are audited annually by the Bishop’s House. For any clarifications, you are most welcome to approach the Parish Priest.
 
12. Any prayer services or fundraising that is organized privately in the name of St. Michael’s Catholic Church must be notified to the Parish Priest at the earliest.
 
13. There are two phone lines in the Parish Office and so only two calls can be attended at once. Sometimes due to the several calls during odd hours, the calls are put on hold. Kindly understand our limitations.
 
14. Kindly note that mass intentions must be booked directly at the Parish Office and not over the phone or by email.
 
15. We strongly recommend all the faithful to wear their masks properly, including covering the nose. Kindly disperse soon after all masses and other services.
 
16. Golden Jubilee:
 
      a.     We will be publishing the GJ Souvenir. A team has been assigned with                the task. You are invited to share your memories/photos with the                        church for printing in the Souvenir.
 
      b.     We have designed a special GJ Medal Souvenir in Gold and Silver in                      view of the celebration of the Golden Jubilee. The google link for                          registration of your requests will be put on our church website. Those                interested should register on the link. Medals will be available only as                per registrations received.
 
      c.      My Sacrifice/ Thanksgiving Tins have already been distributed to                         various prayer groups and language communities. Kindly return the                   tins with your generous contributions before the end of July.
