PAPAL MASS TICKETS/TRAVEL LATEST UPDATES

PAPAL MASS AT ZAYED SPORTS CITY, ABU DHABI ON 5^TH FEBRUARY
Our merciful Lord has given us a wonderful opportunity, to be part of the Holy Mass to be celebrated by our Holy Father Pope Francis.
The Governments of UAE and our Vicariate have put in their best efforts to make it as smooth as possible for the people, within such a short period of time given.   This is an historical event that we are going to witness and everyone of us will cherish for our life time.  This may demand some sacrifices from our comforts and even then we must be ready to accept it happily and cooperate.
All those who have registered so far, have got their Entry tickets allotted, and we congratulate all of them.
TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENTS

1. BUS TRANSPORT FROM DUBAI TO ABU DHABI

 
Government has arranged Free Bus Transport from Dubai to the Venue (Zayed Sports City) in Abu Dhabi.For parishioners from St. Michael’s parish, the boarding point in Dubai is Al Qusais area 76^th Street, near RTA Office, backside of LULU VILLAGE.First bus will leave to Abu Dhabi at 11:15PM on 4 ^th of February and the last bus at 3:00am on 5 ^th February.
 

2. BUS TRANSPORT FROM OUR CHURCH  TO DUBAI

 
Our Parish has arranged feeder buses from St. Michael’s Church to Al Qusais, 76 ^th street.The bus timings are 10:30pm on 4 ^th February, 12:00 am and 1:30am on 5 ^th February.
 
Valid Entry Tickets and Transportation Tickets are must to get into the buses.
 

3. OWN TRANSPORT TO ABU DHABI

 
For those who would like to travel to Abu Dhabi by their own private vehicles, parking has been allotted at GATEWAY HUB, YAS ISLAND. The parking facility will be available from 1am to 5am on the 5 ^th morning. After this time, no cars will be allowed to enter.Free Shuttle buses will transport people from Yas Island to the Mass venue.Again, you should hold valid Entry Ticket and Transport Ticket to enter the parking as well as to use the Shuttle buses.
 

4. STAYING IN ABU DHABI

 
Those who are directly going to Abu Dhabi and staying in hotel or with friends and relatives,you may directly arrive at the venue and get the entry with your ENTRY TICKETS. Make yourself aware of the access points and the distance.
 
The detailed information on the TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS have been published in the Church Notice Board, as well as in the website www.uaepapalvisit.org.
Now that the Government has declared that people who would like to participate in the Papal Mass can avail holiday, many of you will be thinking of attending this mass.  We have arranged more tickets for you, and those who have not registered through any other community, prayer groups, or other activity groups can obtain tickets, by presenting your Emirates ID copy at the registration counters placed in our church compound.  Also, for those who are on Visit Visa, you may also obtain the Entry ticket by presenting copy of your passport and visa.
 Entry and Transport tickets are absolutely FREE OF COST.
We encourage more people to join and receive blessings of our Holy Father Pope Francis.
 
LIVE STREAMING OF HOLY MASS BY POPE
Holy Mass to be celebrated by our Pope Francis at Zayed Sports City will be telecasted on 5th February, 2019 at 10:30AM LIVE in giant screen in our church.  We welcome all parishioners who are unable to attend the Mass in Abu Dhabi to be present at the church and take part in the Holy Mass.   Priests and Communion Ministers will be distributing the Holy Communion as well.
 
SALE OF GOODIE BAGS
Special Goodie Bags are on sale in our Stall. The bags contain T-Shirts and various souvenirs.   Sale proceeds will be given to Pope’s Charity Fund for the poor. We request our parishioners to buy these bags and support this noble cause.    God Bless you.
